        In the U.S. Supreme Court, he has argued two cases on the merits, Cooper Industries v. Leatherman Tool Group, 532 U.S. 424 (2001); Dole Food Co. v. Patrickson, 123 S.Ct. 1655, (U.S. Apr 22, 2003),  and briefed 40 more. In the district courts and courts of appeals, he has argued more than twenty cases. He is the author of numerous major law review and other articles and has assisted Harvard Law School Professor Laurence Tribe with AMERICAN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, the leading treatise on the subject.
